I wouldn't compare the OWS people with Tea Party. the Tea Party is astroturf. OWS resists representation and politicians because they're afraid that big-business or a political party will overtake their message and energy.

Personally I don't make such a comparison, either. However, that comparison is being made in many quarters, so it's worth acknowledging. As I said above, I prefer to talk about what the Occupy movement is rather than what it is not.
