ah, it's really just ramblings. if i try to think about what to write in never comes out right. i'm better at drawing.

we were once elevated above animals because of our ability for emotions,
it seems we have sunk back to there level,
only caring for the needs and wants of ourselves

I like that verse. It's true. We're all just retreating back to animals...or so it seems.

i wish i could have worded it better. it just seems that the one thing that once made us better than the animals we supposedly evolved from is the one thing that we are forgetting. so how are we better than animails? we may not eat our young like some animals, but what good is it if we starve the young of others we are equal to? * gah!!!* it still doesn't come out right. never mind.

It's all the same in principle. I think people justify it, or put it in a different light to make it seem more okay.
The people are still dying, whether it's eating them like animals do, or letting them starve to death while you are served caviar by your butler in your million dollar mansion before being chauffered to your own personal club in your lamborghini, ..............it's all the same to me.

Ignorance, apathy, etc...
It's easier to turn a blind eye to something than it is to deal with it, when you know you're part of the blame.

It comes out right, it's just so hard to word right when there is so much involved, and so many feelings about it all.
