Ah, Alphonse! [He's quite happy to see that you are doing a-OK.]

At least, I think so... it kind of feels like a dream.

[ Except this is a dream, so... now Al is just confused ]

[Armstrong seems to be pondering for a moment before turning his attention back to Al.]

What happened while you were... back home? [Doesn't sound like the right term to use, but still...]

[ Funny, he remembers it way too clearly for it to be a dream. And he didn't seem to remember Somarium at all when he'd returned home... ]

Erm... The 1st branch library burnt down, and brother and I discovered the 5th Laboratory

[ You kind of were there after that, so you must know what is going on, right? ]

A-and, we met another homunculus, who called himself Greed.

... And... Mr. Hughes... [ Trailing off, now. ]

[OH, OK, he knows about all that.

And he knows just how sad it is.]

I'm sorry that you had to go through all that.

[Armstrong sounds clearly bothered by this whole thing, as he himself just came out of witnessing poor Hughes funeral.]

[ A slightly uncomfortable silence, as both of them stop to remember Hughes. ]

And the Colonel... he killed a homunculus. [ That was the last thing Al remembers. ] She kept regenerating, but he figured out a way to kill her.

Hm? [OK, that's new.]

How did he do that?

[ Al didn't get a chance to ask, but he has his theories... ]

I believe, if you continue to attack them quickly enough, it might slow down the regeneration time...

But he looked pretty beaten up, so it couldn't have been a very easy task.

Hmm... That's interesting.

But if that made the Colonel tired, that sure isn't the easiest thing to do.

This sounds quite troublesome. [Really. Doesn't look good AT ALL.]

[ He won't mention that he'd thought the colonel was dead for a while there... ]

The Wrath here also killed one, named Greed.

[ He stops talking, because the memories aren't fond ones. ]

Lalala... choosing the wrong avvies...

[He ponders for a moment. Now that he's awaken, he really needs to have a little 'talk' with Wrath. That has been delayed a little bit too much.]

I had a bad feeling about things when I was back home. Just didn't know they were that bad.

[Armstrong can definitely make Al's words his own. Last thing he wants is more meaningless deaths.]

I believe that, all we can do right now, is hope that things don't take a turn for the worst. [Not they didn't do that already, but, yeah...]

I am sure that brother and the Colonel can handle things fine in our world.

[ Hesitation, then, said in a slightly softer and more cautious voice ]

Now that I'm properly awake, I intend to look for him so he can explain me a thing or two.

[Really. He was meant to do that eons ago, but then the sleep coma hit him.]

I just crossed paths with him once and that was before you told me about who he really is.
