She'd been nervous the entire walk down, wanting to ask questions, but holding them back. Barely holding them back, her lip pulled between her teeth. When she could see she didn't know what to look at first, the music had already been making her wonder just what was going on.

"Owen," She looked at him with a soft surprised smile, it was all too much, "What is all of this? It's not my birthday."

"It's the first nice night we've had in a month, well, okay tenth nice night but still. The clinic isn't flooded, Jackson isn't cranky and sweaty. I just thought I'd do something nice," he said and it was, well partly the truth. Owen extended his hand to lead Tosh over to the boulder where he had dinner set up with room for them to sit on as well. Hauling a table and chairs out here didn't seem quite as romantic.

"It's lovely," she assured him as she took his hand, her cheeks flushing as he led her to the table. "You even organised music. Thank you," she leaned in to kiss his cheek before seating herself.

Owen hopped up opposite Tosh, uncovering the food he'd made. "It's not much, just, you know, some fruit salad and pineapple marinated boar, and I made it myself so there's no promises for how good it'll be-" Owen said and cut himself off before smiling awkwardly at Tosh.
