After some hunting, Owen found himself a proper football that he'd taken from some girl who'd taken it from some guy, and it was all too complicated to be worth it. He hadn't so much as seen a proper football since he'd met the boy, Sanjog, in Chennai, so when he spotted someone in the field, kicking one around, he angled his path in their direction. He hadn't played himself since university, but he also hadn't been this fit since college. Life on the island did have some unwitting advantages.

As he drew closer, he recognized Owen Harper - doing something very odd with his hands around his face. Eyebrows drawing together, lips quirking wryly, he called out, "Another goal for Dr. Owen Harper, and the crowd goes wild!"

Owen nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the voice coming closer. Once he got over his shock, Owen grinned broadly and kicked the ball over to Mohinder.

"Still searching for a purpose here, Suresh?"

Mohinder grinned, trapping the ball under his foot. He tapped it back and forth between his feet on approach, then kicked it off.

"I've resigned myself to the more limited 'not having no purpose'."

Owen opened his mouth to respond and then just laughed richly.

"I guess that's one way to skin a cat," he said, jogging after the ball.

"You settling in okay now that you have not no purpose?"
