Shoes on Utube is just too funny, anyway... If you find out from your professor what you need next sem, I'll bring them with me.
I circulated all of them in the now defunct book circle, so you prob. already read them, altho a while back.
I read out of this furnace in HS. I thought it was cool b/c it took place in Braddock/ Homestead & I knew most of the places they were talking about and pictured my family in the story.
Those books are 300 dollars. Those books are 300 dollars. Those books are 300 fucking dollars. Let's get 'em!
I should be able to find out what books i'll need before you get here. I'll let you know once I do.
I liked 'Out of this furnace' too. They talked about Kirkpatrick a few times, which was the street Queen A lived on and Main Street. The cemetary was also mentioned but I have never been there. I recently read "The Spencers of Amberson Ave" which discusses life in Shadyside between 1890-1910. I grew up in that area and I pictured my family while reading it. The Spencer house is still standing, I drove by it a few weeks ago on my way to visit Joce at work and obtain yummy coffee.
