When did I last update?  1989?  *sigh*  Anyway, been real busy.  Just got done with Minicon and the Public Library Conference.  Panels went well at both.  Had multiple panels with Lois Bujold and Caroline Stevermyer, which were wonderful.  I announced to the PLA audience, "In case you hadn't noticed, Lois is really, really smart."  Finally got to ( Read more... )

You are pretty skimpy on the words. What are you doing with them otherwise? Writing actual books? Songs? Such a slacker.:)

Nico, David, and I are coming up to a silly little con called AppleCon in about two weeks, April 10th to 13th. Are you and/or the family going to be around? It would be great to see you guys. Maybe we could have lunch or go swimming in the hotel pool or something.:)

We'll be around. Definitely give us a call. Nothing my kids like better than swimming in a hotel pool.

It was good to see you at Minicon!

The CONvergence panel ideas list is up, and it includes my "Living with a Writer" panel suggestion. Can we talk your dear wife into participating with me?

I remember you, you're that mean guy who picked on me at the LJ party!

Kevin just noticed that the deadline for the room block for DemiCon is April 1st, unless they're kidding. (We'll be there again this year; Kevin has been to every single DemiCon so we can't stop going even if we want to, though I don't think we want to at this point).

The Public Library Conference sounds cool and not just 'cause of cool swag. Though swag never hurts.

"Got a YA book with a protagonist named Alison (with one L) just like my 9-year old daughter. When my wife asked what it was about, I said, "Who cares? It's Alison with one L. She's going to love it!" "

Hee! You know her so well...
