I assure you, I'm plenty experienced, although I've been out of the workforce for many years now and my options are limited to things that don't involve dealing with young children or standing on my feet for eight hours. I might be able to offer you something. Have you ever had a manager position before?

Many times. It's a type of position which I prefer, more than most.

Then it looks like I could aid you. I pay well and that position is open at my establishment. Have you ever heard of The Den?

The Den? I haven't. Could you tell me more?

Mom, you don't need to work. I'll get a job or jobs that will be enough for both of us.

Nonsense, dear. We all know the kind of work ethic you carry. You don't enjoy work for work's sake, not like your brother. You get that from me, you know.

We'll both be happier if I pick up a little...part time to help out with luxury expenses, if you can manage to keep up on the regular bills.

We both know I'd work hard if it meant helping out. You've always provided for us, just let me do the same for you.

Alright, just so long as it's part time.

You can provide for me all you like, Peter. We both know that it can never be enough. Let's not fool ourselves.

How are you? Settling in? Seen Claire?

The summary of my business is here. Basically, a large company that deals with the most advanced research in the City. Any experience that would help in any area of management would be helpful.

Paperwork?

Terrible.

I'm sorry to disappoint. I just have expectations for a job, ones which make me want to do something more...creative with my time.

What about a travel agent? You can't exactly leave this place, but you're pretty good at getting people to go where you think is best for them.

That was very cute, Claire. Once you're done being adorable, perhaps you could come and help me to re-decorate this old apartment of Peter's.

I've been adorable all my life. I don't know if I can stop. What's wrong with Peter's apartment?
