yes, we fell asleep holding hands last night, but the important thing is i fell asleep with a smile on my face for the first time in i don't even know how long.

today, i saw a person in a full-on metal robot costume walking down the street i live on.

there's an opera singer living in my building, or the one adjacent to it. she sings beautifully and practices almost every night.

it's nice to know i have the city to turn to when i need a little cheering up.
