Carbonized bamboo.
I don't know what they do to it to make it carbonized, but it's pretty cool. OwletsYarn on etsy sent me a few free mini-batts along with my order (Great seller, by the way.) and one of them was a BFL/Carbonized Bamboo/Sari Silk blend which I spun up just for the fun of it today.
