An Inconvenient Truth

As silly as this sounds, I've come to the realization that my inability to date or even make myself available stems from the fact that I love two different people. These two guys, close friends of mine, are away of my preferences, but they don't know just how deep my feelings extend. I know I have to be more assertive, more confident, and believe that I am worth something to someone the way I am.Amen. You've got to do what's right for you because it's your life and no one else's. It can be very scary and lonely at times to set out on a path divergent from the typical experience, but that's where the beauty of life is to be found. Only you can determine which path works best for you. Also, if someone is in love with you, then they will love every aspect of you. They will love you completely and totally, for the good and the bad, for your strengths and your shortcomings, for all of your little eccentricities, and vice versa. I say this from personal experience. Half the time, I wonder how Alex can put up with me, then I end up just laughing when he does something that irks me because it's him and I love every bit of him. It can be hard to find that, but I truly believe that things happen when they're meant to and that settling for anything less than the best is just not worth it.
