Have any of you ever worked for books-a-million? And if so, did you like it? Also, do the sales associates get any benefits?

I have a friend that worked there for quite sometime...he doesnt work there anymore but I can ask him what the benefits are. I know they dont pay well though

Ok, I just talked to him and he said he hated it and they treat their employees like crap. He said that he didnt use the insurance they provided because he was under his significant others insurance at the time but he heard other employees complain about it and its only for full timers. He did say the one benefit is that you can "check out" books like a library as long as you brought them back in good condition. Hope this helps!

used to work there years ago. yes it is true they treat their employees like total and utter trash. i do not recommend working there.
