Sure, today they say it's just for ameliorating macular degeneration and other age related diseases, but before you know it there'll be mall kiosks offering zoom/tele lenses to teenagers along with the usual eye piercings. (Of course, intraöcular lens implants and dangly contact-lens jewelry are already old hat.)
