Considering how many times the Bible has been edited buy man / church, who can really say for sure what the original content is. I would love to go back in time at the point of conception for every phase of the book.
Times have not changed. I, and others have been chastised and discriminated against for not being Christian or some other faith. Oh, wait...we enslaved blacks, have tried genocide on many occasions, and pillaged the Native Americans. Did I mention how women and children have been treated throughout history?
I have met very few people who possess true, non bias, non judgmental, brotherly love for all races and faiths.
I didn't mean to get you burn'in! I know I can get you worked up, but that was pretty sharp! Be careful not to get caught up in the resentment toward christianity.
Sharp? What is wrong with the truth? No, I do not have a problem with Christians, etc. My new good friend is Mormon and I do not care. I love the fact that she is passionate about her religion and does not feel the need to put down my beliefs or treat me different. We accept each other as people first

Totally. Declaring the book as the "Ineffable and Perfect Word of God" is just a way to get people to stop asking questions, and intellectualize their way past things that feel wrong to the heart.
