Happy New Year! We are sitting in a hostel in shanghai right now and it's really cold. Maybe not canada cold, but when you get used to 20+ weather it sucks to jump right into -1. Wow, I barely reconize Nick. He is more handsome than cute now. Big change from the McDonalds days.
Everything is going good here. I got to go to the lab and drink some orange soda pop like stuff. Then sit for an hour. Once the hour was up they take my blood to test for gestational diabetes. I am all clear! Baby is growing as it should. But once again I got told to rest and put my feet up more.
I go back to work next week for my last month. It is going to be difficult I am sure. I have been naping everyday and still going to bed as I normally do but I am sleeping in until 9-9:30! I am going to miss sleep.
Kory got a projector tv. So it is like we have our own movie theatre in our basement. We watched Kung Fu Hustle. Man, what a funny movie! I also finally watched both Kill Bills. Yay!

I guess you guys will be heading south as soon as possible. I think our weather here might beating yours. It's barely been below zero in a month. Me and Corey went to Vancouver for New Year's to spend with the MacDonald/Slozka crew. It was nice to visit with everyone. I was sick the whole time - still am, as usually. It sucks. I can't wait to feel better.. anyday now would be nice. Things as still going okay, though, I think. We'll have to wait and see... I'll be thinking of you as I curl up next to my fireplace. Sheri

It was wonderful talking with you both on Christmas day, it was one of the highlights of our day. Can't believe the pics with the tigers, I think I'll volunteer! Enjoyed all the socializing we did over the holidays at Kory and Leanne's. Kory did the most spectacular job finishing the basement! On the countdown for Hawaii, have to do the new bathing suit thing today. Yuck! Two more days of work left, I have been offered four new jobs. I'm really not sure if I want to work anymore. I'll decide while I'm on vacation I guess.
Dr. Wang says China very good, low crime, they execute. Lots of love. Mom and Dad B

Thanks for the pictures and the newsy report. It is always a releif when we hear all is well. Hope you find nice weather somewhere in China. It can't all be so cold. Brandie had to buy a winter coat when she visited & she claims they are pretty inexpensive there. If you'd like Keely, I can put some money in your account to buy warm coats. Things are okay here - still no snow and great winter weather. Talk to you soon. Love you lots - MOM P.
