Alaska ruined that book for me. Though I generally love John Green.

I read so many reviews on goodreads that thought she was so fantastic that I was left wondering if I'd even read the same book. I do love John Green though, I really need to pick up Paper Towns

I've seen a handful of vlogbrothers videos before yes! Have you read An Abundance of Katherines?

I have Looking for Alaska in my books-to-read list. We'll see how that goes :p. And Ella Enchanted is so sweet, though it's been years since I've read it.

It was on my tbr pile for ages, it is very good, I just didn't care for the Alaska character at all. And Ella Enchanted was a lovely read, I'm glad I barely remember the movie because it is nothing compared to the book.

I read Ella Enchanted in 6th grade when the author came to my school. Sadly, I don't remember the book.

I just read Compound a month or so ago and I had SUCH high hopes for it. What a flop.

Ugh. Same on Alaska. The book is fantastic, but Alaska herself is blah.

I need to find my copy of Ella Enchanted. I picked it up at a used bookstore 'cause I've heard great things about it, but I still haven't read it.
