"Come on…just a little farther…”

“Wait…where are we going?”

JaeJoong turned to his youngest band mate and grinned faintly. “I told you back at the house that it’s a surprise. And I’ve already given you hints.”

“Telling me that its not something you can see very well in Seoul isn’t exactly a great hint, JaeJoong.” ChangMin pointed out but a smile ghosted over his features.

“Then just stop asking questions and be patient.” JaeJoong smiled and slipped his hand into ChangMin’s as they continued their way down the dark trail.

ChangMin was glad for the dark and the only light being the pale glow of the moonlight above them as it covered the blush on his cheeks from the simple touch. He had gone home with JaeJoong for this vacation and since the older boy had grown up in a more rural area it was relaxing to get away from the busy city hustle and bustle, from the lights and the people that took to the streets and kept Seoul buzzing with activity.

Now walking down the dirt path in the back yard of the Kim’s home, he gave the other’s hand a small squeeze as he followed him. It was a clear night and the dark sky sparkled beautifully with the stars that reminded the youth of diamonds glittering against a fine piece of velvet. He let out a small sigh and smiled a little more.

“You really don’t appreciate things like that when you’ve grown up in the city your whole life.” Min commented softly, canting his head to the side.

“Things like what?” JaeJoong asked, looking at his best friend with a small smile.

“Things like the night sky and the stars.” ChangMin replied, looking rather thoughtful. “Its almost inspirational.”

JaeJoong smiled gently. He had been so happy when ChangMin accepted his invitation to come home with him for their vacation and it was a moment like that when he was truly grateful to be with Min at that moment.

“Well then if you think that’s something then you just wait…what you’re about to see will blow your mind.” He grinned and tugged the other along the path. “Come on or we’re going to miss it.”

ChangMin laughed softly and followed. “Ok ok…I’m coming…”

The two of them walked another short distance down the path before JaeJoong finally stopped and look around. “All right…I think this is a good spot.”

With that he flopped onto the ground and lay back on the grassy ground, gesturing for the other to join him. “Well come on…” He smiled.

ChangMin quirked a brow and smiled faintly before nodding and plopping down next to JaeJoong, laying back in the grass. It was a warm night and the cool grass felt good against his bare arms and tickled his neck pleasantly. Moving his arms to curl under his head, he looked up at the sky.

“Well…what are we waiting for?” He asked, looking over at the older boy.

“Just wait…” JaeJoong murmured, pulling his cell phone from his pocket and checking the time. “It should start any second now.” He said more to himself then to Min. Flipping the phone shut he stuffed it back into his pocket.

Min nodded with a questioning look and squirmed faintly in the grass. He really didn’t know what Jae was being so secretive about but he was trying his best to be patient. He stole another quick glance at JaeJoong only to find his friend was completely concentrated on the unchanging sky above them. A flicked of light caught his eye and he directed his attention back towards the sky just as it lit up beautifully with what was commonly known as falling stars. ChangMin had never seen a meteor shower in his life and his jaw dropped open in happy amazement as he watched the stars streak and zigzag against the deep black.

“Wow…it’s…gorgeous…” He commented, almost breathlessly. “You knew this was coming?”

“Yeah…I watch to news sometimes, Min.” JaeJoong laughed softly, teasing him playfully. He sat up and pulled Min up with him, pointing to the sky. “Make a wish…” He smiled.

ChangMin looked at his friend for a minute, thinking it a little childish for them to still be wishing on stars. The look of pure happiness on JaeJoong’s face and the atmosphere of that one moment they were in caused him to smile and he nodded. Turning his face back to the sky, he closed his eyes and made a wish.

“Did you make it?” JaeJoong murmured softly. Turning to look at the boy next to him.

ChangMin nodded and opened his eyes. “I did…I just hope it comes true…” He said softly, looking down to the grass below him.

“I wish I could ask what it was…but then it wouldn’t come true.” JaeJoong laughed softly, canting his head back to look at the sky for a moment. “But my wish requires a little effort on my part.”

The younger boy blinked faintly and looked to JaeJoong again. “What do you mean? How does a wish require effort?”
“Well…it wasn’t exactly your normal kind of wish.” He said softly, shifting a little closer to Min. “And…it requires me to…take the initiative…” JaeJoong reached out, taking hold of the other’s chin gently. “And…some effort on your part…for it to come true.”

ChangMin’s breath caught in his throat as the older boy took hold of his chin. A thousand thoughts raced through his head at once. Thoughts of every time his heart would begin to race whenever JaeJoong was near him. How his body would instantly react to every touch in the past. This moment was no different as JaeJoong touched him gently.

It wasn’t more then another minute and he felt JaeJoong’s lips pressed against his own. He hitched a breath, shocked at the sudden action but as if it were second to his nature his eyes slipped closed and he tilted his head just slightly so his lips fit perfectly against the older boys. It wasn’t the first time JaeJoong had kissed him but this time it was different. It wasn’t a plot to wake him from his deep sleep, it was sweet, affectionate and much more tantalizing, leaving him breathless when they finally parted.

JaeJoong smiled faintly at him. “You fulfilled my wish, Min…you kissed me back.”

The younger boy blinked, confused for a moment before a small smile crossed over his face. “You didn’t need to wish for that JaeJoong…but…you fulfilled mine too.” Min blushed lightly.

”And you didn’t need to wish for me to kiss you…” JaeJoong laughed softly. “I guess we were both pretty silly.”

“Maybe…but…I’m glad we were…” ChangMin admitted softly.

The older boy smiled brightly, pulling Min towards him again and placing one more sweet and gentle kiss on him. “Date me?” JaeJoong asked softly.

“I think you already know the answer to that…”
