He goes by the name Shaitan (the Djinn that was raised to heaven and then cast down from Islam). He is a sorceror who summons spirits, demons and djinn to do his bidding and his hell bent on toppling the American government. However, he isn't middle eastern at all. He is an American, but by pretending to be middle eastern he gets instant terrorist street cred.

The character is very tongue-in-cheek.
