Hi there ! I'm nearly 17 and living in France. I've never had what you could call a "true encounter" (my story are no where near as scary then most people) but I've always ""believed" in the paranormal. Even if I try to find a logic explanation to everything slightly out of the ordinary. My personal favorite ? It's all in your head.

Ouija boards can't always be trusted. I have heard stories of entities posing as loved ones, but are not who they claim to be. Be very careful when it comes to stuff like that. Chances are you could have contacted your grandmother, but it also leaves a doorway open for other things to come in.

Thanks for sharing your story. It was interesting and chilly. As I've been told about hauntings, I hear people burn sage or bless the house. Which ever they feel works for them. Hope your haunting does not get worse.

I also forgot to mention that when I was experiencing the activity in my old house I was considered crazy or making stuff up for attention due to being sick and barely being able to see friends and attend school. It's going to happen, but it's now comforting to know that there are people experiencing the same thing and that we can talk to.

When I did my makeshift ouija I didn't know anything about the risk and all. It's only recently that I've discovered them. AllI can do is be thankful that I didn't do it in my house at at school (scary school , I always heard voices in the stairs when sitting next to the door in class. But then again I chalked it up to people cutting classes :P)
The thing is that I've never considered myself haunted. I just though it was the way the house was built. I hear a lot of knocking against the walls per example. I hear some right now. But the walls are so thin it can be my next door neighboor or my upstairs one.
I find myself wondering today if it's all the normal explanations (old floor, bad shelf, neighboor hammering a nail into the wall) ,if "it's all in my head" and I'm making myself freak out or if it's actual activity. After all my building is quite old.

There's nothing worse than having someone tell you you're crazy, or it's in your head when you know these things are happening.

By the way, there's no experience too small to share on here. :)
