From the very little I know about pendulums (my mom has one but I've always been a teeny bit of a skeptic, despite having seen it in action), if you touched it or anything like that, it may have just "liked" you. For instance, my mom's pendulum will work for me, but if my mom is using it, it's much more pronounced/powerful. If that makes sense. It is charged with HER energy, things like that.

We went to Chambercombe Manor down in Ilfracombe, lovely place! The only major paranormal reference of the place is the fact that a woman was buried into one of the bedroom walls when she died from her wounds after being involved in a ship wreck. It's said that there are also supposed to be hauntings by small children that stayed in the rooms, and the ghosts of other residents. The history of the place is absolutely fascinating! What's the deal with Berry Pomeroy? Did you have a bad experience there?

I see your idea about this one being a bit off. I know that due to the laws of gravity and such, anything on string will inevitably swing, but yeah...the rate at which this one was swinging was a tad bizare...

Wow! Scary stuff :P

I'd totally recommend going to Chambercombe, it's utterly amazing. I've Googled Pomeroy and it looks interesting, I'll con everyone into going :)

I think precognitive dreams are a fairly common occurrence. I've had them, and if I remember right, after doing a bit of reading, quite a few people have had them too. The most maddening thing is, they don't make much sense, until you're actually in the situation depicted in the dream.

I've found so many people who have had dreams and they've happened, it's quite scary when you think about it, really...

I just found it quite bizare that the first one I experienced, it happened literally *straight* afterwards...but I see your point in it not making any sense for awhile. Just like any dream, I suppose.

Yes. Sometimes it happens months, or even around a year, before the occurrence, and sometimes it's almost immediate.

Pendulums are a great tool for those trying to sharpen their intuitive senses. I currently have a copper pendulum (copper is a good conductor of energy).

Like with any divination tool- tarot, crystals, mirrors, pendulums; the item/tool will have a specific owner or user it is meant for. Perhaps your energy works best with this pendulum?

Be careful my friend. Once you are aware of the spiritual realm, they are VERY aware of you. Make sure you know who or what you are communicating with, and that you get it to leave every time you end your conversation.
