Hello everyone! I’m currently a senior in college, and for my anthropology class we have to do an ethnography on a group of people. I decided that for my ethnography I would study paranormal enthusiasts and investigators. Because I love questions and the last time I helped someone with a paper they got an A. Might as well make it two for two!

What got you involved in the paranormal? What kind of paranormal most interests you? Why?: I grew up in a haunted house in a family of highly-sensitive psychics who just happened to specialize -- so to speak -- in spirits. I've been sensitive to spirits and other supernatural/paranormal beings since childhood, only growing moreso as I get older. I don't know if I would consider the fae to be paranormal, but for the sake of this, I'd have to say I'm most interested in them. That and the concept of a physical incarnation of Death.

Why did you join this community/blog/forum? Are you an active member?: It was featured on the front page and since I love things like this, I joined straightaway. I think I'm fairly active, yes.

Do you belong to any other types of groups that relate to the paranormal?: I try to avoid those who seek such things. I think those who go looking for spirits and their ilk are foolish.

Oh I must have missed the top question : Paranormal stories of ghosts that are people that other people know of or historical figures. It helps me cement my own beliefs of the afterlife.
