Hi! I'm pretty brand spanking new here, but I've been reading back on some of the posts and they're all really interesting! I wanted to post something myself, kind of as my thanks to everyone for posting their own stories. I had a lot of weird experiences that kind of calmed down after I grew up. So, I figured I would share one of my oldest.

Obviously, as a child, you sensed whatever spirit was there, and felt no threat. My two daughters had a playmate at their grandparents', and one day my eldest said the girl's name was Bella. My dad paled and started to shake. His baby sister died at the age of 3, her name was Isabel, but they called her Bella. They even described her to a T. We, as adults, never saw her. She and the other two ghosts preferred to only appear to children. None of the grandkids ever felt scared. If anything, the ghosts protected them. I'd say you kind of had the same situation.

That's really interesting!
I'm sure it would be scary from an adult's point of view, thinking that your kids are, basically, playing with death. But, it's nice to know that other people had similar experiences as I did.

That's so interesting!

I have a similar story. Can't remember seeing or speaking with it as a child, but I do remember it having been around with me. My mum reminded me about it a while back, and it gave me the heebie-jeebies when I remembered that it's name was Monster. It used to scare my mum too. I don't think mine was a friendly as yours seems.

I love stories like this. Little kids always seem so perceptive of these things!

You know, I can never recall the thing/person ever getting close to me. In fact, it feels like there was always a threshold standing between us when I saw it. But, like I said before, it's just kind of cool to hear about other people who had similar stories. : D
