There are usually 2 reasons you can't read someones aura.. one being it is so close to their body because they are a closed off person and doesn't like to share things about themselves, then it basically hugs them like a thin outline but still can be seen it just makes it very hard to interpret ( ... )

the first one is the most likely reason. im an introvert and very shy person.

follow-up question:
does the size/range of a person's aura have an effect on anything? will this affect how paranormal entities interact with you? how about normal day-to-day life?

I honestly don't know how your aura would effect how entities would interact with you. I can't imagine it would have an effect as what draws things to you. What draws entities or spiritual energy is your openness to such things ( ... )

With some practice, it *is* possible to either project your aura elsewhere or even to "take it off" and leave it somewhere. It's not recommended though unless you have a very good reason for it.

May I ask how you remove your bodies natural energy field or leave it elsewhere? I am just so curious about this because I have never read any experiences of this practice.

I do know you can expand your aura to a very wide distance but I have never heard of releasing it from ones self.

I stumbled onto it ages ago. It's a combination of a Japanese philosophical idea and a reaction to a very nasty attempt at a psychic attack.

Basically, it boiled down to "If I can prevent my aura/energies/whatever from interacting with someone else's, I can be invisible to them psychically". It would take a LONG time to explain the whole thing, but it can distract people trying to track you psychically. But you must remember that while it is *not* connected to you, it is vulnerable to *everything*. Andd you feel very very... weird when you do it.

When I add new members to the Small Town Ghosts Team of paranormal investigators, I teach members to pull in their aura when they need to protect themselves. They practice pulling it in tight, like a force field around them. When they want to enhance sensitivity, I have them project it out. To give each individual visual feedback, I use dowsing rods and approach them, giving the rods instructions to flare out when the reach the field.

My theory and that of some other paranormal investigators, is that we perceive the presence of ghosts and spirits through our aura. When our electromagnetic field interacts with the electromagnetic field of the paranormal entity. Do we really know how far out that field truly reaches? In quantum physics, there can be electrons that are paired millions of miles apart. The densest part of the field is close to our bodies and can be pulled in or pushed out, but the thinnest parts travel the universe.

this is how i always thought about it. that your aura can be like some sort of radar that can pick up the presence of spirits or ghosts. and in reverse, entities can pick you up via your aura.

oh another thing. a coworker of mine has never had any experiences with the paranormal. when he asked a medium if there was an explanation for this, he was told that his aura was "noisy" and that it deterred ghosts.

anyway, interesting to see the different views on the topic ^^
