Our spooky place

My mom, children and I just moved to a duplex in a new town. It is an upstairs/downstairs place with hardwood floors all through the house. It also has a basement. It is a pretty nice place for where we live and how much we pay for it. And it's spooked. I have only heard the stairs when everyone is sleeping but my mom has had more experiences than

The flies are particularly creepy, ugh. I've never even seen that type of fly indoors.

They freak my youngest daughter out as well. I've never known them to survive in the cold.

That seriously had the hairs on the back of my neck prickling. And I agree the flies are wrong. I also suggest you get this place checked out - and I hope you post if anything else happens <3

Creepy! I laughed at this part, though - "It bumped outside her door then it came into her room and started bumping around. We have no pets except for a little bird and 2 little fish and both are down stairs." Even if they weren't downstairs I have a feeling it's not the bird and fish. ;)

Seriously, though. I hope things die down! (No pun intended!)

my vote would be to kill the flies, Raid for example, and maybe do a cleansing yourself if you feel comfortable, (incense, salt water, feather, pretty basic supply)

I seriously recommend that you get pest control or an exterminator to look at your basement, from the blow flies it sounds like you have a pest problem, maybe a dead rat in a crawl space or something.
