If this were true, how do you explain people that turn to drones for a month or less? They usually end up returning back to normal rather quickly.

Please, don't get me wrong, it's a good theory, and the only one that makes sense. But there's still somethings to take into an a count.

Not really. I remember seeing him around many times before he was droned. All those times he seemed like his normal perpetually drunken self.
