November 12, 1981
- Lutessa Lena Luthor is born, the illegitimate daughter of Lionel Luthor and Pamela Jenkins

Late 1985
- Lionel leaves Lutessa at St. Louise's Orphanage. All memories of her life to this point are erased by Granny Goodness and her training as a Female Fury begins. Lionel soon uses his power and influence to have Lutessa adopted out as far away as possible.

- The Mercers of Louisiana adopt Lutessa, changing her name to Tess and giving her a new birthdate. All memories of her time spent at the orphanage are erased by Granny Goodness.

September 1996

- At the age of 15, Tess leaves Louisiana to attend Harvard University.

May 1998

- At the age of 17, Tess graduates from Harvard.

Exact Dates Unknown

- While working on research near Fiji, Tess and her classmates are hijacked by pirates. All are killed but Tess and her friend Megan, who are kidnapped and taken en route to Singapore. The boat stop at an island as it begins to take on water, where Oliver Queen is found stranded and deemed to be a better pay-off by the pirates than Tess and her friend, who is executed. Tess saves her own life by being able to keep a poisoned Oliver alive. Once recovered, he helps her escape and they leave the island together.

- Tess and Oliver begin a romantic relationship in Star City.

- Oliver leaves Tess after cheating on her.

- Tess is recruited by Luthorcorp.

May 2002

- Pamela Jenkins dies of cancer.

2006

- While working in South America collecting disease sample for Luthorcorp, Tess' camp is bombed by terrorists and she is left for dead. She is saved by Lex, who brings her back to the United States for recovery.

- During one of her numerous surgeries, Lex has doctors hardwire nano-transmitters to her optic nerves without her consent or knowledge.

- Tess shifts her duties at Luthorcorp to a more official capacity, working more closely with Lex.

- Amanda Waller, aka The White Queen, recruits Tess into Checkmate, a covert government agency tasked with uncovering and dealing with alien threats to national security. Agent Mercer holds the rank of White Knight in this organization.

April 2008

- Lex murders his father, Lionel Luthor.

May 2008

- Tess assists in the kidnapping of Lana Lang on the orders of Lex.

July 2008

- Arriving in Metropolis, Tess takes over Luthorcorp as per instructions left by Lex prior to his disappearance, as well as moving into Luthor Mansion in Smallville. She presumably has a hand in Clark getting hired at the Daily Planet.

- The Fortress seed crystal is found at the arctic and delivered to Tess.

- Tess recruits Bette Sans Souci, aka Plastique, into the Injustice League.

October 2008

- Tests performed on the seed crystal provide Tess with proof of alien existence, though it is summarily stolen.

- Oliver Queen attempts to resume their romantic relationship, but is rebuffed.

- Another meteor infected youth is recruited into the Injustice League.

Late 2008

- Tess continues to search for the missing crystal and gathers more information about aliens on Earth, as her suspicions about Clark increase.

- Lex is found and kept alive by medical assistance, though Tess keeps his whereabouts a secret.

January 2009

- Lana Lang reveals the truth about Tess' optical implants. Emotionally shattered and completely disillusioned, Tess breaks ties with Lex. She cuts off his medical support, leaving him for dead, merges LuthorCorp with Queen Indutries and has the implants first disabled and then removed.

- It is revealed that Tess had been in love with Lex until this point.

February 2009

- Lex is ultimately killed by Oliver Queen.

March 2009

- Under the pretext of taking Clark to a press conference, Tess blows up their plane, forcing him to use his powers to save her. Though she does not specifically see him use any abilities, she is from here on out convinced.

- Jimmy puts Tess on the trail of Davis Bloome, aka Doomsday.

April 2009

- Tess finds Lionel's journal and realizes two boys landed on Earth in 1989.

- To prove Davis is the second boy, Tess blows him up while he is in his car. When he comes back to life, she nurses him back to health and informs him of his true heritage, setting him after Clark.

- It is revealed Tess has the Kryptonian orb.

May 2009

- Tess sets her Injustice League to manipulate both Davis/Doomsday and Clark in an attempt to force them into a confrontation. The IJ eventually turns on her and attempt to kill her, though she is saved by Oliver.

- The orb is revealed to be communicating with Tess and soon after goes missing. Tess accuses Lois of the theft and the two get into a physical altercation, ending in Tess being knocked unconscious while Lois activates a Legion ring and disappears.

- The orb returns after the final confrontation between Clark and Doomsday, releasing Zod and his Kandorian army at Luthor mansion, though they are powerless. They take Tess captive and torture her for information.

Late 2009

- The Kandorian army finally leaves the Luthor mansion, leaving Tess with no proof of their existence. It is revealed she had allowed them to capture and torture her in order to find out more about who they were and what they wanted.

October 2009

- Tess continues to search for the Kandorians, finding instead leftover research indicating they are attempting to use humans in experiments to reinstate their powers.

- She comes into possession of the Kryptonite heart of Metallo.

- On Tess' instructions, the cure to a Kryptonian virus that was derived from Clark's blood is destroyed after all infected parties are cured.

- Tess forces a jailed Winslow Schott, aka Toyman, to figure out how the Kryptonite heart works.

- Zod resurfaces as the head of a new corporation working with Luthorcorp to build solar powered towers, which is news to Tess. He attempts to get her to tell him who the Blur is, but she refuses.

- Zod orders one of his soldiers to kill Tess, but she gets the upper hand, sending Zod proof that she has killed his soldier instead.

November 2009

- Tess agrees to help Zod find the Blur, though only as a means to keep an eye on him and maintain her advantage.

- A kidnapped Jor-El agrees to work with Tess and pretend to be the Blur as a way of protecting Clark's identity from Zod.

- Tess takes possession of the Book of Rao.

- Using Summerholt technology, Tess experiences the lost future memories of a comatose Lois, revealing an Earth with a red sun under Zod's dictatorship. Tess is Zod's subordinate ally and is then killed by Chloe, now the leader of a human rebellion. Tess is horrified by the revelation.

February 2010

- Amanda Waller brings Tess back into the Checkmate fold.

- Although Tess had attempted to delay the solar towers from going online, she is unsuccessful. Clark takes his own action, destroying the towers at the last minute. Unbeknownst to anyone, Tess salvages a Kryptonian console from the wreckage.

- Tess discovers Chloe and Oliver are keeping secret stashes of Kryptonite forged weapons.

April 2010

- Tess forces Zod to reveal his powers to her and the two begin a sexual relationship.

- On orders from Checkmate, Tess kidnaps Oliver (as Green Arrow) though ultimately fails when he escapes. After aiding in the rescue of Chloe from Checkmate, Tess goes underground as the only way out of Checkmate is death.

- It is revealed that Tess has improved on the Kryptonite heart and revived Metallo to use as a personal bodyguard, though he leaves under his own will.

- Tess warns Zod that he cannot trust Clark.

- While trapped inside Watchtower, Tess discovers Checkmate has implanted a parasitic tracking chip inside her that is powered by her own biorhythms.

- Tess allows Chloe to use a defibrillator on her in order to stop her heart and depower the chip, also trusting that Chloe will revive her, which Chloe reluctantly does. Checkmate is destroyed by Zod for his own reasons and Tess is free from their influence.

May 2010

- Tess is captured by the Red Queen - revealed to be Martha Kent - and ultimately relinquishes the Book of Rao. It is unknown if Tess recognizes Martha or not.

- Finally finding and visiting the Fortress of Solitude, Tess attempts to kill Zod using a set of brass knuckles made of kryptonite, but he is able to gain the upper hand and burns her with his heat vision.

- Clark takes her to a hospital, where she reveals the console from the towers still exists and that Clark can now defeat Zod. Tess later dies of her injuries.

May 2010 cont'd

- Tess awakens, alive and completely healed, in Cadmus Labs, only to discover the lab is full of clones of Lex, including a six year old named Alexander, whom she takes back to the mansion with her.

- In order to save Oliver, Tess helps Chloe erase her identity and reprograms Watchtower.

October 2010

- As Tess has continued to help Oliver and Clark in Chloe's absence, they decide to officially give her control and title of Watchtower, which she accepts with uncharacteristic emotion.

- Tess continues to care for Alexander, who has grown to love her as a mother figure, as he rapidly ages due to defects in his cloning. When memories of the original Lex begin to surface, a confused Alexander runs away, only to be found by Tess at the Kent farm.

- Realizing Alexander has no control and will become just like Lex, she orders all research into curing him be destroyed and Alexander himself is locked back up in Cadmus Labs.

November 12, 2010

- Tess learns that she was adopted and returns to St. Louise's Orphanage to find out more about her past. Granny Goodness, still in charge, reveals to Tess that her biological father was a powerful man who forced them to adopt Tess out when Granny wanted to keep her.

- Granny kidnaps Tess and locks her away in her old room, intent on making Tess into a perfect solider for an on coming war.

- Tess escapes the room and overcomes one of Granny's girls, but is caught by another. She is rescued by Clark and the orphanage is shut down, though Granny manages to evade capture.

- Tess finds her original birth certificate, revealing her true parentage, name and birthdate.

December 2010

- Alexander escapes Cadmus Labs.

- Kryptonian technology switches Clark with the Clark of another universe (Earth 2), where he was raised as a Luthor by Lionel. It is revealed that Earth2-Clark and Earth2-Tess have a semi-incestual relationship (though they are not blood related, were raised as brother and sister).

- Tess and Clark cement their relationship as friends

- Earth2-Lionel appears with plans to take over as the real Lionel Luthor.

- The government and military close in on the League and their identities, questioning all parties involved. Watchtower is shut down as a precautionary measure.

February 2011

- Lionel publicly resurfaces and resumes his life, attempting to find the still missing Alexander before Tess does.

- Alexander shoots Martha Kent and is found by Lionel, who wants them to be father and son. Alexander soon realizes Lionel can't be trusted and burns the mansion down.

- Tess and Clark manage to get through to a distraught Alexander, who not long after starts to physically deteriorate and lose his memories. Tess, believing that Alexander is finally close to dying, attempts to poison him with cyanide so his death will be quick, but the needle in unable to penetrate his skin.

- Under the influence of magic champagne, Tess has a romantic encounter with Emil, though the two later affirm that they are just friends.

March 2011

- Tess reveals to Clark that Alexander, now known as Conner, received half his genetic make-up from him and has begun to exhibit superpowers. She leaves Conner in Clark's care to help him through this stage of his life.

- Having discovered a way to discredit Earth2-Lionel, Tess regains control of Luthorcorp and warns him against retaliation.

April 2011

- Earth2-Clark returns and attempts to sway Tess to his side, telling her if they kill Lionel they can rule together. She feigns interest but when she ultimately refuses to help him kill Lionel, he attempts to kill her instead, though she is rescued by Clark.

- Tess continues to be a source of support and help as Watchtower, working with Clark and Oliver even after Chloe's final return.

May 13, 2011

- Granny visits Tess at the damaged mansion, trying one more time to turn Tess to her side. Tess again refuses and Granny warns Tess of the impending doom.

- After discovering the planet Apokolips is heading toward Earth, Tess is kidnapped by Lionel before she can warn Clark.

- Lionel rebuffs Tess a final time, saying only Lex is worthy of his legacy and that Tess' heart will serve as the final piece in the ultimate Lex clone. Tess frees herself and shoots Lionel in the chest before fleeing.

- Tess returns to Luthorcorp, only to find a newly resurrected Lex waiting for her. He hugs her, tells her he loves her and then stabs her. Tess, knowing this was the likely outcome, infects Lex with a neurotoxin that will rob him of all his memories.

- Tess dies in the arms of her brother.
