[Boy troubles seem to be following the both of them around lately. Tanvir hasn't seen Herz in a couple days, and it's starting to aggravate him a little bit. Oh, sure, Herz came back after speaking to Ben, like he'd promised, but he'd left again, and since then things have just felt...off.

Spending a night with a drunken, slightly maudlin Gavin probably didn't help, but that's not the point.

He figures if Herz isn't going to come see him (hey, his door is unlocked, and Herz has always been welcome before. Yeesh.), then he'll just go see Herz. So he does. The knock is just a courtesy before he lets himself in. What's up, Herzie?]

[The knock registers two seconds after the fact, so Tan gets to watch Herz freak out over the surprise of suddenly having a guest. The teen jerks his head up to stare at the door while the book snaps shut.]
