I honestly have no idea, I use BitTornado. However, sometimes torrents are bad and so they won't download. This isn't too rare, but I think you should have something by now, depending on how many different torrents you've tried.

You'll have the same problem with every torrent program. What it is is that you aren't downloading the program in twenty minutes, you're downloading the link to start downloading the program. So after 20 minutes your computer finished downloading the link to start the actual download, that's how torrents work. You basically download straight from a server, what a torrent is, is the link to that server. Since you are on dial up it'll take a while to get that link, after you have the link, since you are downloading shows, lemme give you an example: On my highspeed bandwidth it took me 4 days to download a whole season of quantum leap. So, if you want one show on dial up, even with bit torrent, it'll take about a week of continuous connection.
