20. Burn by Linda Howard Not as good as many of her others. Didn't quite have a deft hand with the setup at first but it got better nearer the end. Took place on a cruise ship and didn't exactly change my mind about not really wanting to ever take a cruise.

I read Burn in July 2009 and rated it 7 out of 10 stars. The one thing I really liked about the story is that Jenner goes to an attorney immediately after winning the lottery. I thought that was very smart!

You know, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would have probably done 7 as well : < ) Loved her attorney - Al! and her best friend Syd! Do you watch Royal Pains? Syd reminded me of Paige.

We do watch Royal Pains! I like Paige, but don't remember much about the character, Syd, from the book.
