Slowly but surely getting settled in the house. I've already done many home improvement projects and we haven't even been here a week. We painted the master bedroom, put on a new shower head, changed air filters, bought and built a new desk, and a bunch of other things ( Read more... )

I would have warned you... hohotread July 3 2004, 16:17:54 UTC
It's a rule. The song played most on the radio will ALWAYS be the one least like the rest of the album. Ever hear anything by Sugar Ray besides "I Just Want to Fly," or anything besides "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence? Heard any Cranberries besides "Zombie?" Hi, I think I may know you or have meet you, but I'm not positive. I have trouble keeping up with lj names.

It sucks that you don't like the Modest Mouse album. I think its fantastic. It got me back into Modest Mouse. When I first heard the album one of my first thoughts was that a lot of people would buy it based on "Float On" and not like the album at all. So I guess you prove this for me.

I don't think we've ever met.

Regarding Modest Mouse, I think it was more disappointment than anything else. Float On is so good that the rest just seems mediocre in comparison. Bukowski and track 2 (whatever it is) are pretty good, too, but Dance Hall is just noise to me.
