This is so wonderful. I've never thought of a Nine/Rose/Jack story using the Face Of Boe before now. A gorgeous idea having Jack farewell-ing Nine & Rose from afar, and many millenia after he first met them. I love the emotion you've put in it and how you've got their relationship (especially FoB/Jack's observation of Nine/Rose) so perfect. The 'spoilers' reference is great too. Great work! :D

I've just recently rewatched season 1 again myself and of all the new!Who series I think it got the emotion and relationships just right. I love that Nine, Rose & Jack are all a little broken when they first appear but it's their journey together that fixes them and makes them all whole again. That's the biggest part of why I love those characters and that particular series the most so far. The finale is just so heartbreaking and satisfying at the same time.

Jack and River would totally have known one another at some point in wach of their timelines. I find the wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey nature of both their live really fascinating. When/If the series ever ends in the future I want to go back and watch all River's episodes chronologically from her point of view. I think it would be really interesting to see the life of the Doctor and Co. from her point of view.
