Song Title / Lyrics Fic Titling Meme

So there's a meme going around where you list all your fics that have been titled after a song title or lyrics from a song, and I do this so much it's ridiculous. I kind of wanted to throw a list together just to have one! Reverse order because I'm too lazy to start from the last page and go forwards!

I was going to do this because I thought "Hey, yeah, I probably do this a lot!" ... Turns out that I totally don't. I only have three fics that are titled with song lyrics/titles (and actually, one of them is named after a poem, not a song)!

I did notice that I tend to go for the one-word type of titles. Haha.

I actually had less than I thought that were titled after songs/lyrics, but if I'd counted the number of fics where I'd used lyrics as epigraphs, I would have had even more! A few more of my fics are titled after film quotes, and a few others after poetry (two after Keats' "Ode to a Nightingale", and one after Plath's "Mad Girl's Love Song").

I have a love/hate relationship with doing one word things! One of my long-stalled WIPs has one word chapter titles, and dear God, the amount of times I can change that one word between starting work on the chapter and publishing it...

Oooh, have fun with it! I loved compiling a proper list, and I'm so curious to see others! It's a good indicator of what music people like, or at least what lyrics or titles really strike them, which I find so interesting.

It's funny actually because I have a few songs that repeat across two fandoms :P hmmmn...

my fic list is way shorted then yours anyway, but I checked and I guess I don't do this much, since I have ONE that fits

Isn't it funny when we think we do something more than we actually do? This list is actually a bit shorter than it could be, as there are other fandoms of mine that I write for that only get posted to fanfiction.net, so there could have been at least five or six more fics on this list if I'd counted those!
