The instantaneous topic I thought of in reading this entry was 'How far away is diety?' Up here I see a lot of new pagans with stars in their eyes over the 'elders' who are taking the candy and stepping into vans with no windows. It's an interesting dichotomy from the thoughts we generated in Syracuse.

Interesting choice of words; I may have to steal that metaphor since it fits right in with a thread I'm following. I'm nowhere near done with the topic, just working in bits and pieces, working through some ideas.
