Now that my boss is on maternity leave, there are often going to be times when I'll simply not have anything to do. Hopefully these will be few and far between, but I don't think that's going to be the case, so I'm trying to come up with things to do. I know I could fill my entire day with webcomics, but I'm trying to avoid that for as long as

You could write a blog. Like, one intended for mass consumption. I'm not sure what about, but you might be able to come up with something people would want to hear you talk about.
