So this is it. Series finale. I know it had to end eventually and that it's probably for the best but I'm still sad.

Even though nobody uses LJ barely anymore I wanted to say thanks to all the members of this community. It's been a pleasure sharing this with you.

Aloha and mahalo.

Yes I agree with the hundreds who have said it already: Lenkov have us a shite ending to this series. I will admit I have not watched all the season 10 episodes I have banked for binge watching but I saw a small clip from ep 10x16 the ending scene on the couch. It is very clear that the McDanno train was still a-rollin. Steve has been driving it all year. As I have opined in my other commentaries, I believe there would be no McDanno if not for Alex and Scott which I believe was the deal they made with TPTB in order for them to stay. The reason the end of 10x22 sucked major billiards was because it seemed so tacked on and forced. I maintain it was done specifically to keep the network happy so they won't have to live with idea that for 10 years that they may have been supporting a show with 2 gay lead characters. The rest of us know the truth: a braver producer/writer would not have put ( ... )

Thanks for keeping this comm going; you've done a stirling job!

I haven't seen all of S9 yet, let alone started on S10, so have no real opinions on the ending yet, but if what I'm reading is right, then what a huge pity.
