At least there are some nice highlights on the plane. Most times we have flown we are either over water or it was night, thus Crater Lake sounds amazing.

Have to agree with US Customs, but then any sort of standing in line waiting for officialdom after 10+ hours of flight will *always* be a bitch.

We are also about to head home from Tokyo tomorrow evening so will warm up the pubs for you. Don't forget to stock up on the duty free booze, I snagged 4 bottles of +$100 scotch for under $300!

Vancouver is really growing on me. It's got a lot of great restaurants, some cool nightlife, and mountains all around.

And even its airport is nice!

Vancouver is the best!
They have awesome views, awesome beer, entertaining people, great venues. See if you can catch some of the native artwork while you're there - really powerful stuff.
