Stupid power outage.  It's back now but I always re-realize how much stuff that I like to do depends on power.  So I ended up going into work because work still had power. 

Found a new fandom: Star Trek 2009 and have been searching for more ever since.  Why I decided to read I don't know but I have such a crush on Chris Pine.  Which means I've been staying up way too late on work nights.  Suprisingly still wide awake after last night and a couple hours of sleep. 

My brother graduated from law school last Saturday, so we (my parents and my sister and me) went out to see him.  He's the only one of my brothers and sisters who's managed to finish any kind of post graduate work.  I went for a year and decided it wasn't for me.  My brother is ABD in his masters and my sister's still in regular college.  So ( Read more... )

I think I weaned myself off caffeine by accident.  We were talking tonight in pottery class about caffeine and its effects on us.  And I said that caffeine doesn't affect me except for this one black tea and that I can usually drink a few cups of black tea and then go to bed.  But then tonight I came home and drank about 48 oz of black and mate tea ( Read more... )

I'm so sore.  >.<  So very, very sore.  I did the leg lifting portion of P90X on Thursday knowing I would be sore but not this bad.  Then I did my normal class on Friday and then today I did Zumba for almost 2 hours.  And then I hobbled home and tried not to move around too much ( Read more... )

One link and a good story and a movie that I mostly liked and I have another fandom.  Thanks imaginings!  I've spent the past few days trolling for stories.  The fandom is small but the stories are good and there's not too much pink fangirl out there.  I'm sure there's some of ffnet but there's always some on ffnet.

This wireless shit is more trouble than it's worth.  I have never had more computer problems connecting to the internet than when my roommate wanted to set up this piece of shit modem.  Thirty dollar modems suck!!!!!!

I had a nice vacation in June.  My family went to Colorado with some friends and had a good time for a week.  And then I came home and fell into a month and a half of the most stressful work I have ever had in this job.  I did way too much microscope time in the month of July.  Making more than 100 plates, doing 100+ plates in a month.  It made me ( Read more... )
