This is great. One of the cool things about drabbles, when done well, is that they offer a glimpse of something more, like looking through a keyhole into a bright, complex world. We only see a sliver of it, but we know it's there.

I think you've captured that really nicely here, in terms of Miranda's past and the way her mind works. Good job, sweets!
