Um... Wow.

You're a cruel woman, Hawk, it's far too early in the morning to be making the butch girls cry... were the sun over the yardarm, I could have diffused the impact of this one trying to decide between champagne ('cause it's posted!!) and scotch ('cause it goes well with emotional sledgehammers). Ah well, shall go out for breakfast with my beloved instead, and ('cause life is short) tell her I love her- not news, but a good way to start the day.

I'd never make a human cry for anything in this world. Okay. Full stop. I would if s/he deserved it but you never could in this life..I'm happy to have finished this chapter so I can move forward with other things. (Staring at you). Oddly enough, I found myself miserably stuck EXACTLY here with Dopp. The chapter before the penultimate chapter. Is there a word for before penultimate? I'm happily past it and thank you because you're gracious enough to allow me to think about my old friends before I write them.

And telling someone you love that you love her--or him--or it? Yeah. A very good way to start the day.

... before the penultimate is antepenultimate. The Latin transliteration is "before what was almost last". Although FireFox wants to tell me that it's either spelled wrong or not a word. Yet it's a correctly spelled word! Anywho... thanks for the piercing update!

Hee! Thank you for that, decktrio. Good Lord. Antepenultimate is a fantastic word but you begin to understand you're being a bit persnickety when having any reason to use it, don't you think? Or pernickity, if you respect a nice Scot form, which I do.
