One of my pleasures in writing DWP is making characters take a little of the wind out of Miranda's sail. I wouldn't hurt her for the world (what's a gunshot or two among friends?) but I do enjoy it.

Susan is a real gem. What a great character. Also miranda noticing caroline's little comment about being a lousy photographer and correcting it was cute. Very motherly.

Miranda has her moments as a mother, I think. As does Caroline, as a kid. I wouldn't want to be in either pair of shoes.

Thanks for another wonderful update - Caroline has needed an attitude adjustment for awhile - thanks for making this start at an adjustment - or - at minimum words for thought for her. Peet

I think poor Caroline needs a little adjustment, too. Of course, her behavior and attitude are often appalling but look at Miranda. She's not often any better and sometimes worse. I think, however, people sometimes calling them on their behavior helps them.

And I think people loving them exactly as they are, making them want to be better, is what, in the long run, makes them happier. I don't think they are, by nature, 'happy' and I don't think that's a thing for therapy or medication. I think it's them. But I think they can be happier. Andy makes Miranda happier and Caroline? We'll find out what makes her happier.

I concur - lets leave the meds and therapy aside and try loving them as they are - Andy's has made this decision already - now JC and Cass have to get on board. thanks again for a great series - Peet

I enjoyed this update. The doctor is getting better each time we see her. I like the interactions between Carlo and Juan Carlo, too.
