Omg what an awesome update totally worth the wait. I love the whole concept of Charles the moose. The speeches were priceless & Miranda dancing hilarious
And I'm so in love w/ your story that I'm reading it again - probably for the 3rd or 4th time. The narrative is so well framed, that the characters leap off the page (or laptop screen in my case) fully formed as if I might actually pass them on the streets of Manhattan. Which, b y the way, would be divine!
And please know that I join the chorus of others in expressing my sadness that the last chapter has been written. But boy, what an epic ride it's been. And we have you to thank!!!
Re: my pic, that's Babes. She passed away a few years ago, but gave us 17 years of joy. She was small, but her ears (and heart) were HUGE. She belonged to my aunt and uncle, but I "kidnapped" her when I bought my house and was too afraid to stay here by myself. What made me think I needed 10 rooms to myself remains a mystery... Anyway, she guarded the couch and her kibble and her person, and for that I'm thankful!
Take care and I look forward to reading your next creation!!
Their happiness is such a joy to see, perhaps even especially when it comes in unexpected ways -- such as Miranda's song choices and the moment Caroline captured with her camera. Their wedding night was so lovely, and so very them. Thanks for another fantastic chapter.
Thank you for reading and for your thoughts. It’s nice to hear you thought their wedding night was ‘like’ them. My version of Miranda is a person who’s not all that attuned to what makes her happy but she does know when she is, even if it surprises her. It makes me happy that you enjoyed what made her so.
Hi, marygriggs. Thanks for continuing to read and for your thoughts. I'm really pleased you liked the wedding. I must say I felt more than a little like Emily after finishing it. (smiling)
