Well, I now seem to have many versions (thank you limewire)... next time you're around we can swap what we've got, and I'm sure Molly wouldn't mind me sharing hers (she gave out copies at her last house concert).
I heart the Peter Mulvey recording of that song. My favorite verse is:
Maybe I've been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew you I've seen your flag on the marble arch Love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hey, for various reasons that are too long and complicated to go into right now, I am now in serious need of finding somewhere else to do glassblowing. I'm not sure yet whether I'll be quitting the place I've been doing it entirely or not. I'm going to stick it out for a few weeks and see what happens. Regardless, I need to look into alternatives. You were kind enough to offer to let me work in your studio set up, any chance we could schedule a time when I could come take a look at it and see whether or not I'd be comfortable working on my own? Drop me an email or a reply to one of my posts and let me know if you have some time. And if it makes a difference, I'm completely willing to barter physical labor in exchange for the studio time. I can garden, I can do various forms of housework, I can do renovations. Any skill I have is something I'd be willing to trade for studio time.

it makes me shudder just to read it.
