you are rapidly becoming my very favorite hawke/anders writer i think. everything you do is fantastic; you always shed a different light on their relationship and i love the simplicity and style and elegance with which you write. please never stop.

Aw, thank you! I will try to keep the depressing AUs coming.

Ohhh, these were marvelous. The last one especially seemed so plausible; I can imagine that this would be the perfect catalyst for pushing Hawke into blood magic.

Thank you!

I actually kept a specialization point in reserve while I was playing, waiting for the right in-character moment for Hawke to turn to blood magic. Which then never came. So here it is.

As awesome as the blood mage specialization is, the fact that no one talks about it and no one reacts to it in game really ruins it for me. :T What's the point of playing a nefarious maleficar if no one is going to try to smite me?

that was rather OT, sorry!

Not at all! I love talking about this stuff.

That is kind of annoying. Meredith having to speak politely to a blood mage would have been massively entertaining.

I generally find trading HP for mana to be not a worthwhile exchange for my play style (particularly if I can't be healed while using it, holy poop I'd die so fast). So that's the other reason I never got around to assigning it.

Powerful, very powerful, especially that last one. Even in addressing the changes in the others you mention. 3 was chilling, I had goosebumps.

Thank you :3

Viciously tantalizing. I'd dearly love to see any one of these expanded upon.

I admit, the one with Karl keeps expanding in my head. There may yet be more of it.

That one was largest in my mind when I made that comment. Consider yourself creepily watched, stranger.

Then I suppose this would be the least awkward time for me to bring up that I've been creepily fangirling you in silence?

because daaaang, Plucking the Strings was fantastic i have no words

I absolutely adore that last one. Like, ridiculous amounts. The others are great, too, but that one was hands down my favorite.

Thank you!

I like the last one a lot, myself. It was kind of the main idea kernel for the whole thing.
