Mushrooms
Sparrow Hill is open again after being closed due to weather damage and logging. Rode the 26 km loop, which is basically a long and winding trail going nowhere. The area was full of these colourful red mushrooms

Softball
In Canberra we have the National Softball Centre in Hawker, a world-class softball facility with at least three first-class diamonds with night flood lighting, and six more softball fields. I've never been to see a game though ( Read more... ) -
Stromlo again
Sparrow Hill still closed, so had to ride at Stromlo.
Exhausted. -
Head scarves
A while back watervole remarked that British housewives no longer wore head scarves, which, when I first visited the UK, was practically part of the national dress. I made a mental note to grab the next picture of a British housewife wearing a head scarf, as it might be an historic image.
