Initially, you're not going to notice much of a difference -- muscle weighs more than fat. If you've got *measurements* you may notice a difference there.
Right now, the only difference I am seeing is in my feet. It may sound crazy, but what once was wide, is now "normal" I was wearing size 9 wide. Now, it is 8.5 medium. It sounds nuts, because I am on them so much. I do have measurements, so I can keep an eye out there. The Trainer did say that I am disportionate-my left arm and leg is larger then my right. Well, duh-I am almost exclusively left-handed. Thanks! As much as I am STILL hurting, I fear i will need it to get over this hurdle. Good luck on the job hunt-may you find one close to home, that pays you what you are worth. ;-)
no. It's not. Where do most folks retain water? It's gravity. And if you think about it, the skin on your feet is probably the loosest on your body.
nods. If it helps, exercise through it. Puts teacher hat on. We used to think that the muscle pain was caused by the build-up of lactic acid. It's not. The lactic acid is still there, but it hurts because the lactic acid is disappearing! What we know now, is that the lactic acid acts as an anesthetic and protects you from the pain of torn muscle fibers. As it disappears, you feel those torn fibers. Continuing to exercise can keep lactic acid there?
Now, class, where es the lactic acid come from? Hmmmm, sorry, got carried away. :-D
If I remember correctly, lactic acid is an amino acid, which is a building block of proteins...which is why good proteins are essential to a good, healthy diet. Now-what makes good protein? And why is Mac and Cheese good for you?

The knees and shoulder joints are what hurts the worst-the arthritis just does not want to stop...I think that once the muscles get stronger, maybe the pain stops? Please?
