Last night was the greatest game of basketball I have ever seen and it wasn't even college ball. CHS played a small private school from Indiana. The coach was a former Mr. Basketball for Indiana and went on to coach at IU according to our secretary. Sounds like your mystery coach is Dane Fife. Except he was from Michigan (& my high school) not Indiana, and he'd be 26 or 27 now. He played under Bobby Knight at IU, and became a head coach recently (at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne in 2005 -- I had to check my Google sources.)

So, either the secretary is majorly confusing him w/ someone else, or had the facts on him jumbled.
