In a recent interview, I mentioned something and then said "that's the kind of thing that gets me out of bed in the morning." Which made me wonder

Making something new.

I was thinking that not much was making me want to get out of bed these mornings. Then I looked at the other comments and I realized it's because I'm not making things! One thing nice about Lego is that while it's kinda silly, it *is* making things, and it really is something I fundamentally need.

In fact the "making things" aspect of photography is what makes it possible to endure my required walks.

The fact that if I don't get out of bed, My Husband won't either. Then we'll both be late. Weekends I can't sleep past seven, unless I'm sick.
