5-29-2005 sunday of folklife. Way tired. some sketches.
5-30-2005 monday of folklife. Past tired - Dead. sketches, some selfportrait-ish but all really quick and messy.
5-31-2005 I dunno... probably still recovering. Definitely needs more contrast, but I stopped and went to bed.
6-1-2005 second day of rest... quick portrait, playing mostly with eyes, noses, and hair. Curls inspired by seeing my own wet hair in the mirror - no reference.
6-2-2005 portrait from reference - the lower highlight on her cheek is really throwing it off, I think... I'm not sure. something about that area really bugs me.
6-3-2005 not sure exactly where this came from - probably just trying to get figures to interact with each other. Reminded me what I hate about drawing guns - getting the perspective right always throws me on those.
6-4-2005 another figures in desert type scene - I think I do a lot of these because it's easy to do a dark foreground/light background along those lines. Still trying to figure out dust/fog clowds.
