well now things change again, freinds might now be more than friends, and scott might be willing to take a plunge off a cliff again, not neccsairly to die or anything, and I know it was a bad metapohore but I refuse to give it up now, relationships are like a plunge tho, like a freefall, you're not sure where you're going, and you only have so much

I prefer "stepping into the abyss" rather than "plundging off a cliff" because the cliff really does sound like an end. And abyss is more of a learning experience.
