Labour and Tories 'battle' over their green agendas. If only I could believe that either party was actually going to be as serious and effective on environmental issues as they claim. It's annoying that slimy Cameron has a point about setting yearly targets for the reduction of carbon emissions. I don't know whether to find it amusing or sad about ( Read more... )

They covered the global warming programme on badscience.net too. Seems to have been a fairly shocking programme.

My brother-in-law points out that the famous "hockey stick" global warming graph was used in the programme, only they rather unbelievably *left out* the bit after 1980 which is the whole point of the graph - the bit that actually demonstrates that the global temperature rise can no longer be accounted for by natural factors:
